Sony has patented a new state of the art technology contact lens that records video and takes pictures just by blinking.
The recording is basically turned on and off with the blink by the user and the sensors can detect if it was an intentional or unintentional done. The image capture technology and data storage would be held within the lens.
Simple, piezoelectric sensors on the device would allow the movements of the eye to charge the battery of the device when required.
Now the task is to find a way to fit all of this technology, comfortably, into the device.
